Accessibility statement

Issued on 9 May 2026 — Version 1.0

BasketBoard is committed to making its service accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with article 47 of French law no. 2005-102 of 11 February 2005 and with the General Accessibility Improvement Framework (RGAA 4.1).

To that end, we apply the following strategy and actions: automated axe-core audits across every screen, jest-axe tests on UI components and key pages, and continuous integration with a minimum Lighthouse accessibility threshold.

Our multi-year policy is detailed in the multi-year accessibility plan covering the 2026-2029 period.

Compliance status

BasketBoard is partially compliant with RGAA 4.1 (level AA). The remaining non-compliances are listed below.

Test results

The self-assessment carried out on 9 May 2026 with axe-core 4.11 against WCAG 2.1 level A and AA rules returns:

  • 0 violations across 13 audited pages (landing, login, register, dashboard, accounts, settings, teams, matches, halls, licensees, statistics) and 1 modal (match creation), in both light and dark mode.
  • Automated jest-axe tests on UI components and key pages, integrated into CI.
  • Keyboard navigation checked on the main journeys (Tab, Escape, visible focus).

Non-accessible content

Despite our vigilance, some content still has known limitations (not blocking, but to be improved):

  • Data tables (matches, licensees, teams) allow horizontal scrolling at 200% zoom, under the exception provided by WCAG SC 1.4.10 for tabular content.
  • Screen reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver) has not yet been carried out exhaustively across every journey.
  • The full Lighthouse audit in a local environment has yet to be completed (CI integration already in place, threshold ≥ 90).

Technologies used

  • HTML5, CSS3 (Tailwind CSS 4)
  • JavaScript / TypeScript (React 19, Next.js 16)
  • WAI-ARIA (Radix UI)

Assessment tools

  • axe-core 4.11 (automated audit)
  • jest-axe (unit tests)
  • Lighthouse CI (audits integrated into the pipeline)
  • Browser accessibility inspector
